Update your SoulDial, one side at a time.

This page walks you through the whole thing. First we authenticate and update the Soul Dial. Then you flip the USB-C plug over and update the Wi-Fi/BT side.

Before you start

  • Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  • Use a USB-A to USB-C cable.
  • Start with the normal Soul Dial side; if the updater says it found Wi-Fi/BT first, flip the plug.
  • If nothing is detected later, the cable is often the problem. Some cables only charge.

License recovery

If your SoulDial is stuck in service mode because the device license is missing, this tool can recover it over USB using only the device ID.

Use the normal Soul Dial side for this, not the Wi-Fi/BT side. If the first try fails, flip the USB-C plug and try again.

Update the first side

Use the normal Soul Dial side first. We read its license, authenticate the encrypted update, then install the main software.

Press the button above, then pick the main SoulDial side when the browser asks.

Flip the USB-C plug

Unplug only the USB-C end, turn it over, and plug it back in. This time we are looking for the Wi-Fi/BT side.

Finish step 1 first. Then this step will unlock.

Your SoulDial should now be updated. You can unplug it and power it back up normally.
